Sign up at the Warrior Zone for this skiing and snowboarding expedition at Hillberg from 2 to 8 p.m. Meet at the Hillberg Lodge at 1:50 p.m. For information, call 384-9023.

Singles bowling night

Hillberg Ski Area hosts this opportunity to experience the thrill of dog sledding around the lake from noon to 5 p.m. For information, call 552-4838.

Winterfest!
The JBER holiday party kicks off at Hillberg Ski Area at noon. Dog mushing, reindeer, ice fishing, snowmachining, skiing, snowboarding, and much more are planned. Shuttles will be available from Buckner Physical Fitness Center, the Talkeetna Theater, and the Warrior Zone. For information, call 552-4838.

Fitness skills: Sit-up and Push-up clinics
Every first and third Wednesday of the month, the Elmendorf Fitness Center hosts clinics designed to teach proper sit-up and push-up techniques. For more information, call 552-5353.

Wildlife Education Center
Learn about Alaska’s amazing wildlife and natural resources at this free museum, with interactive displays for kids too. The center, at Building 8481, is open Monday through Friday, from noon to 4 p.m. subject to staff availability. For more information, call 552-0310 or email jberwildlife@gmail.com

PWOC meetings
The Protestant Women of the Chapel meet Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Arctic Warrior Chapel. For more information, email – jber.ak.pwoc@gmail.com.

Civil Air Patrol
Adult members of the Civil Air Patrol meet at the Aero Club Hangar the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Cadets meet every Saturday. For information or to join the CAP, call 350-7951.

Model railroading
The Military Society of Model Railroad Engineers meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. Saturday in the basement of Matanuska Hall, Room 35. Anyone interested in model railroading is invited.
